Faq (Frequently Asked Questions)

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ORDER INTERIOR COLORS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN COLOR-MATCHED?
Considering that the system is used on used car seats, it is likely that the color is slightly different from the original. For this reason, we created solutions that allow you to easily mix the different color tones so as to achieve the exact required color.
WHAT APPLICATION TECHNOLOGY IS REQUIRED?
Generally, a spray gun is used for spray application and a sponge for small touch-ups and both of these are included in the supplied equipment.
IS TECHNICAL SUPPORT AVAILABLE?
Certainly, and contact details of our experts are supplied during the training course.
FOR HOW LONG CAN I STORE THE PRODUCTS?
Most of the components can be used for over two years if stored in a closed container and kept at room temperature. Colors must be mixed before use. The crosslinker has to be used within one year.
HOW DO YOU COLOR MATCH?
The colors are mixed together using a color guide that provides a formulation for each of the over 47 tones that are most commonly used in the car industry. However, this aspect is covered more deeply during the training courses.
HOW MUCH CAN BE DONE WITH ONE SET?
The Midi Set contains enough material to carry out 10 car seat refinishes, as well as over 40 deep cleans and hundreds of small repairs. The Maxi Set contains about 3 times as much material as the Midi Set at a very advantageous price.
IS A COURSE NECESSARY TO USE THE PRODUCTS?
Thanks to years of research we are able to make the system very easy to use. It is possible to teach someone in just one day, even someone with just a normal manual capability. Advance instruction programs are also available on request.
HOW MUCH TIME IS NEEDED TO RENEW A SEAT?
It depends on the conditions: on average in less than an hour.
HOW LONG WILL MY REPAIR LAST?
Considering that we are using the same materials used in the tanneries in making the original car seat leather, the repair should last for the same amount of time. It is obvious that the result depends a lot on the capability of the one making the repair. For this reason, training courses are essential.
